Ms. Kilgore's repertoire includes both opera and oratorio, and she has recently switched her fach from mezzo to soprano.

The late Maestro Anton Guadagno was the first to notice this change in Ms. Kilgore’s voice at the 2002 Palm Beach Vocal Competition. Maestro Guadagno was largely credited for jump-starting the career of tenor Placido Domingo.

Among her current professional engagements, Ms. Kilgore sings in the Armour Heights Church Choir and also at dinner concerts held at the Columbus Centre.

Ms. Kilgore had her European debut in Lucca, Italy, singing the role of Ruggiero from Handel's Alcina in 2000.  Ms. Kilgore also sang several excerpts as Fiordiligi in Cosi fan Tutte, Leonora from Il Trovatore, Idamante from Idomeneo, and the title role in Tosca.

Her roles include Dorabella from Mozart's Cosi fan tutte, Hippolyta from Britten's Midsummer Night's Dream, and Bianca from Puccini's La Rondine

She performed twice with the RCM Orchestra in Handel's Messiah and J.S Bach's Magnificat in D Major. She has also performed Messiah with the Moredale String Quartet in Orangeville and with the Chamber Singers of Algoma, along with a chamber orchestra in Sault Saint Marie, Ontario.

Ms. Kilgore was accepted into the Glenn Gould Professional School of Music, with scholarship. She continued her studies by attending the Opera Performance Program at University of Toronto, again with scholarship.
