Clients by extension
During much of my corporate career, I worked closely with the clients, customers, and suppliers of the organizations I worked for. When we were making joint announcements, when a business was being bought or sold, when a competition was sponsored, and in other circumstances, I became a de facto part of other public relations and corporate communications departments.

It is this clients by extension concept that took me into a variety of law firms in addition to McCarthy Tetrault, where I was director of communications., and accounting firms otehr than KPMG, where I was senior manager, firm-wide communications. It took me into several banks, working at senior management levels, and into a number of associations. I've been involved in flower wholesaling, in the marketing and promotion of commercial photography businesses, in major printing companies, and in both magazine and book publishing. And I have made inroads into the worlds of live theatre and international opera.
