MIA is
located in the south west corner of the Queen’s Quay Terminal
Building at Harbourfront Centre, on the shore of Lake Ontario, in
downtown Toronto.
MIA is a
short walk from many of Toronto’s favorite tourist attractions. The
CN Tower, Rogers Centre and the Steamwhistle Brewery are just north
west of MIA. The Hockey Hall of Fame, at Yonge and Front Street, and
the Air Canada Centre are just north-east.
The
Toronto Islands Ferry Terminal and The Distillery District are a few
minutes walk east, along the shore of Lake Ontario.
Harbourfront itself is packed with shops, exhibits and events for
tourists and residents of Toronto alike. Lake Ontario and Toronto
harbour cruises begin right outside MIA’s door.
