Brian A. Kilgore |
Brian Kilgore Brian Kilgore has been a professional communicator—newspaper reporter, magazine editor, photographer, corporate PR executive, PR agency consultant, and independent consultant—for more than 40 years. He's a past president of the Toronto Public Relations Society (Toronto Chapter), and has written widely on public relations. His new company's name, Consolidated Diversified, represents the bringing together—the consolidation—of lessons learned and taught for decades. This experience—diversified—is based on working with a huge range of clients and employers. Bagels to brokerage. Telephones to tourism. Lawyers to lobsters. His role at Consolidated Diversified can be described as Communications-Based Management Counsel. At First Principles, he usually plays a background role assisting with and reviewing plans and progress for most FPC clients. During client crises or for government relations, Mr. Kilgore takes the lead in salvaging clients' reputations through the media, or negotiating with federal, provincial, and municipal governments to advance the reputation of FPC clients. He is also a professional photographer, providing images for clients of Consolidated Diversified and First Principles Communication, and for other businesses. He operates “Dogs and their Humans,” a professional dog portrait business for private clients.
